The initial application period will be open until Friday, September 2, 2022. Applications may be submitted at any time after that and will be saved for consideration if any vacancies arise. Applications will be distributed to designated councilmembers and the Mayor for consideration.

Printable copies of the application in English and Spanish are available below and can be mailed or dropped off to 7 E. Redwood St, 9th Floor, Baltimore, MD 21202. Scanned copies of the application can be submitted via email to civilrights@baltimorecity.gov. If you are not using the online application link, please make sure to include a copy of your resume with your application and use any additional sheets of paper if more space is needed to complete the short answer questions.

In order to be eligible for appointment, candidates must be residents of Baltimore City, and may not be employed as a law enforcement officer or elected official at any time during their membership. All other questions within the application are asked for informational purposes only in order to gain more insight into the candidates. Board members will serve a term of four years, and may serve no more than two consecutive terms.
